Community Involvement



The Wilson County Rodeo returned to the Wilson County Fair Grounds and Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was a proud sponsor again this year. Friday and Saturday night's were packed with
all the excitement of barrel racing, bull riding and steer wrestling. Competitors from all over the country competed to earn points for the National standings in the Southern Rodeo Association and International Pro Rodeo Association.

Maggie Month at Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was a great success for The Maggie Society of Wilson NC. Sandra Holland, Lee CDJR General Manager presents Laurie Brumfield, Founder and Director of The Maggie Society and their many Foster Parents a check for $6,000. During the month of April every vehicle sold, Lee CDJR donated $50. An adoption event was also held at the dealership with the Tazz band entertaining everyone. The Maggie Society is a group of Foster pet parents providing loving temporary homes where rescues learn basic house manners and how to be an integrated part of the family. Dedicated volunteers, in the meantime, work to find well-matched, carefully screened homes, both locally and through partner rescue groups.

Saturday April 23 Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram hosted the Maggie Society Adoption Event. We had big dogs, we had little puppies and what a day! The Maggie Society Adoptions Event filled the parking lot with lovable dogs and puppies that are looking for their Forever Home. The Tazz band kept everyone entertained and up dancing. During the entire month of April Lee CDJR donated $50 for each new or pre owned vehicle sold during the month. Throughout the month Lee CDJR was the designated drop off site for dog food and pet supplies. Puppy food is especially needed.

On Saturday November 15, Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram hosted The Eastern Outlaw Jeep Club of Wilson NC to help raise money for the Wilson Humane Society. Pets were on hand for adoption along with many Jeeps from across Eastern North Carolina. Wards Steak and Cheese were on hand to provide some of the best food in town. Trophies were given out in four different categories and here are the winners:

The Sudan Roadrunners are a unique team of men that work with the hospital and parents of children that need to keep their hospital appointments to receive the necessary treatment they deserve. The Shrine fraternity is comprised of volunteer members who freely give of their time and resources to ensure that the families are transported to and from hospitals in a safe and efficient manner. Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Wilson NC is proud to be a part of this wonderful team. Accepting the plaque on behalf of Lee CDJR is General Manager Sandra Holland.

Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, part of the Lee Motor Group, was proud to sponsor the Wilson County Rodeo. The Southern Rodeo Association hosted some of the Southeast's top contestants in Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Cowgirl Barrel Racing and Cowgirl Breakaway Roping qualifies for the Southern Finals Rodeo.

Great crowds on both Friday and Saturday nights helped cheer on the contestants as they took on some of the top notch bucking horses and bulls the SRA has to offer.
